AP World: Essays for Test on Unit 1

1. Think about Jared Diamond's factors for the collapse of a civilization (with Easter Island and Rwanda as examples), think about how Rome fell and why, and then think about the status of the United States today. It would be a good idea to do a PERSIA of collapse for Rome, Rwanda and Easter Island for as much information as you have.
2. Think about the Sermon on the Mount from the Book of Matthew. What kind of civilization (in terms of PERSIA) would satisfy what Jesus is suggesting as the ideal society on earth?
